What small things can each of us do for a cleaner planet?

  • “At home, we try to……”
  • “The government should……”

Sample answer (read it aloud, then make it yours)

Small things matter for a cleaner planet. I carry a cloth bag so that I do not take plastic bags. At home we recycle newspapers and bottles. I switch off lights when I leave a room, and I walk or take the bus for short distances. Pollution in our cities is serious: in winter the air in Delhi is dangerous. If every family plants one tree and stops burning garbage, the change will be big.
