India must buckle down for turbulence caused by an unpredictable US.

Highlighting the unpredictable nature of the Donald Trump administration, Washington has once again put off the ‘2+2 dialogue’ with New Delhi. The new dialogue format – that was envisaged during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the US in June last year – was meant to bring together Indian foreign and defence ministers with their American counterparts. However, scheduling issues have plagued the proposed meeting. The dialogue was already rescheduled once earlier this year.
