The SC directed to conclude the trial procedue within six to eight months, adding that Sisodia can re-apply for bail if the trial proceeds at a slower pace.

Supreme Court on Monday rejected former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia's bail pleas in a case related to alleged excise policy scam. Sisodia has been in custody since he was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on February 26 for his alleged role in the ‘scam’.
