1. Dr Jitendra Singh inaugurates ISRO exhibition at Surat
Dr Jitendra Singh said that the founding father of India’s Space Programme, Dr Vikram Sarabhai was a son of Gujarat and therefore, this is the right place and location to celebrate the vindication and realization of Sarabhai’s dreams.
He told the children that when his generation was in the same age group as they are, their only relationship with Space and the Moon was through poetry and songs on the theme of “Chanda Mama”. But today, India has taken over other nations in the field of space.

2. The third edition of 'Women of India Organic Festival' to be inaugurated by Smt Maneka Sanjay Gandhi at Dilli Haat, INA tomorrow
he cultural centre of the Capital city, Dilli Haat (INA), will showcase India's most varied offerings of organic products ranging from food, wellness, personal care, home improvement, kitchen composters and solar products. Nearly 530 participants from the remotest parts of the country will have the opportunity to take part in the exhibition, while selling their unique merchandise to the people of Delhi and surrounding areas.
With the theme ‘Good for Women; Good for India; Good for You’, the Ministry intends to highlight the health and environmental advantages of organic goods, provide a platform for women engaged in it and boost the development of sustainable and easily accessible sales outlets for women producers from the remotest corners of India.

3. Shri R. K. Mishra takes over as DG, SSB
Shri Mishra joined CBI in the year 2002 and worked there as DIG & IG till 2009. He joined Border Security Force (BSF) in June, 2013 and worked as IG/ADG BSF, Frontier Headquarters, Tripura and South Bengal. Before taking over the charge of DG, SSB, he was working as ADG, BSF Headquarters.

4. Shripad Naik graces the Curtain Raiser event of AYUSH Festival of Stamps
The AYUSH Festival of Stamps is a joint venture of AYUSH Ministry and Department of Posts. The main objective of the event is to spread the message of Ayurveda and Philately as a hobby to the young generation. A facebook page, 'Philately for Ayush' was launched .
