Source: The Times of India · 29 Mar 2024Avinashi Ganeshamurthi, the MDMK MP from Erode, succumbed to a cardiac arrest at 5.05 am on Thursday after allegedly attempting suicide. He had been admitted to the hospital on March 24.
The 76-year-old leader was rushed to an Erode hospital in critical condition on Sunday and subsequently transferred to a private hospital in Coimbatore. He was placed on ECHO support during his treatment.
