Domino India’s server is reported to have been breached by hackers and information of about 180 million customers has been placed in public domain. The company accepted that there has been a breach but added that the relevant financial information remains safe.
In a rapidly digitalising world, hackers represent a new threat dimension. Breaches are not uncommon across the world. However, the extent of damage they cause can be limited by an appropriate regulatory framework.
