First off the block, today, will be Tata Consultancy Services, India’s largest IT services company and a bellwether for the entire services sector that accounts for more than half of value added in the economy.
IT is one of the two major tradeable anchors in this universe, the other being banking and financial services. Banking has been stumbling around groggily for around three years now, as the economy slowed, bad debt mounted and profits turned into losses.
