Source: The Times of India · 30 Sep 2020A special CBI court in Lucknow has acquitted all 32 accused in the 28-year old Babri Masjid demolition case, citing lack of evidence against the accused. As per the verdict, the court found that the demolition of the masjid was not pre-planned, the authenticity of the audio and video recordings provided by the CBI could not be proved, and that in the final analysis anti-social elements demolished the structure and the accused even tried to stop them.
