1. On August 26, 2020, the High-Powered Committee appointed by Supreme Court has asked the Environment Ministry to take strict actions against the violation of forest and wildlife laws by “Char Dham Pariyojana”.

10. India’s first multi-wavelength satellite, AstroSat, has detected extreme UV light from galaxy called AUDFs01 located 9.3 billion light-years away from the Earth. The discovery was made by a team of astronomers from Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA).
