Multiple Air India international flights were either canceled on Tuesday June 17, 2025, causing difficulties for travelers. Following last week's fatal crash of AI171, a Dreamliner headed for London, on which 241 out of 242 people on board were killed, the airline has increased operational inspection and technological checks.

According to reports, as of Tuesday, at least seven international flights, mostly from Delhi and Mumbai, have either been cancelled or marked non-operational.

The airline’s social media post on X, June 17, stated, ‘Due to inclement weather conditions in Delhi, our flight operations are getting impacted with some diversions. Please check your flight status before heading to the airport.’

How to request a refund for an Air India flight?

For a refund of tickets issued by the Air India city booking or airport office, kindly contact your nearest Air India reservation office.
