Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday shared the BJP government's development journey on completing 9 years in office and said that every decision taken in the past was done with the intention of improving live of people.‘Today, as we complete 9 years in service to the nation, I am filled with humility and gratitude. Every decision made, every action taken, has been guided by the desire to improve the lives of people. We will keep working even harder to build a developed India,’ he added.

The BJP has planned a month-long mass connect exercise from May 30, the day Modi government took oath for the second term in 2019. Modi is scheduled to address a rally in Ajmer in Rajasthan, the Congress-ruled state where assembly polls will be held later this year.

Meanwhile, with Prime Minister Modi completing nine years in office, the Congress had asked him nine questions last week on issues such as rising prices, unemployment and farmers' income, and demanded an apology for the ‘betrayal’ during his tenure.
The opposition party had also said that the government should mark the day of its anniversary as 'Maafi Diwas'.
